Vehco and ELOmobile join forces

The two independent leaders in fleet management systems for transportation & logistics in France and Northern Europe join forces to offer the largest range of products and services in the market. Swedish Vehco acquires French ELOmobile, and the merger of the two companies will create a European leader with increased R&D capacity as well as stronger financial assets to continue future organic and external growth. The enlarged Vehco Group will become one of Europe´s largest Fleet Management solution providers with over 30 000 trucks equipped at 800 clients in 11 countries.

Brest, France / Göteborg, Sweden (March 4th 2011) – Vehco is pursuing its successful European strategy that combines both a large international reach and a strong local presence by adding ELOmobile’s strong base in France to its already envied position in Northern Europe. The strategic combination represents approximately 100 employees, 6 locations in Europe (Denmark, France, Germany, Norway, Spain and Sweden), 800 customers with over 30 000 on-board computers in 11 countries.

Vehco and ELOmobile come from two complementary angles of Fleet Management solutions:  Vehco has so far primarily focused on Driver efficiency, advanced order management and mobility and ELOmobile on Back Office profitability and productivity. Combined, the two will offer the largest range of products and services to the market.
